I remember I went to this cooking class a couple years ago. We made something that might have used tapioca flour (or some other flour) to make a somewhat squishy substance. We rolled it out into logs and then took parts and rolled those into balls. We dropped them into coconut milk (which was heating up on the stove) and then ate it later. It was sweet and the balls were chewy. Does anyone know the name of this dish?

I am currently enrolled in a Outdoor Cooking class that requires me to start and be up close to small outdoor campfires. This, of course, leads to a smoky campfire odor on all of my clothing after the class, which is my first of the day. What can I do/wear to avoid smelling like a campfire for the rest of the day?

I already wear a winter coat and snowpants, but the smell still seaps through.

All i’ve figured out so far is that it’s old, and not used anymore.
That it has something to do with salt?
and that’s it’s NOT Fine Grain but the G does stand for Grain.
